Understand the customer’s project delivery expectations
and scope expectations.
· To confirm that this project is supported by a business case and a project
charter
· To agree with the customer what methodology will be used to deliver this
project
· To ensure that the customer is ready to begin this project
Introduce initial IBM team to customer and establish
working relationship, procedures, mutual expectations, etc.
Carry out a project readiness assessment for the
project and identify any high-level business or technical issues that may interfere with the project’s
success.
Assess customer willingness to act as a marketing
reference if established project success/acceptance criteria are achieved
Obtain and review business case and project charter with customer.
Review methodology with customer.
Complete project initiation checklist.
